that looks like Zanzibar Red (the lighting and filters may make that difficult to determine). I know this color was available on the Boxster for a while. I know there are pictures of a 996 C4S on the web (this one is the bomb). I think I have seen some 996 Turbos in this color.

I tried to buy a 996 C2 with the Aero front and Rear options off of Ebay about 5 years ago. Talking to the seller, it had overheated at some point, and he was not willing to let it go for what I was willing to spend.
